Our history is very rich, we were originally constructed in 1804 as a Rum Storage facility for the British Regiment. Island Inn is located within the Garrison Historic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the building was also designated a national treasure of Barbados.

Superb ! Where do I start …. Hotel is just extraordinary … I dint think I’ve ever visited somewhere that produces a community feel . We all got to know each other and would meet for early morning swims and to walk to the horses if we were up early . Food was superb always !! Drinks gorgeous – mudslide delicious !! A Lamar special yes please don’t mind if I do ! Rooms spacious and v clean . Towels lovely and thick and white . ( could be quicker in washing but hey ho I’m in Barbados and nothing is a problem ) Miss Brown is just inspiring and runs a fab hotel . Location is 10 star . Best beach by far . Here’s to next year island inn -I’m ready to come back .
Amazing location Birthday treat for my daughter 30th. Great rooms, great staff, food was excellent and plenty of it. Lovely laid back feel. The rooms are clean and well presented. I Will def go back again. Very helpful staff, help source flowers for daughter birthday dinner. Laid a lovely birthday table for us and even cooked a special dessert because of my daughters egg allergy. We travelled before the pandemic.
